Reverend Warren Clark Barfield 

Clark Barfield, 74, died Sunday, August 20, 2023 in Kinston, North Carolina following a brief illness. He was a retired minister in the Eastern North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Clark graduated from Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the Duke University School of Divinity.

Born November 21, 1948, Clark was predeceased by his parents, Warren Kilgo Barfield and Marjorie Clark Barfield.  He is survived by two brothers: John Cromartie Barfield (wife Kim) of Raleigh, Craig Martin Barfield (wife Susan Alexander) of Raleigh and White Lake, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7, at 11 a.m. at Edenton Street United Methodist Church in Raleigh, after which visitation will be held at the church. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 18, at 11 a.m. at Clarkton Cemetery, again with visitation following the service.
