Walter Lee

Walter Lee, 84, of Albertson, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at ECU Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.

He was predeceased by his father, Walter Lee; mother, Nannie Mae Smith Lee; two brothers, Lehman Lee and Andrew Lee; two sisters, Vinney Grace Potter and Nellie Potter.

Walter is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sue Smith Lee of the home:; sons, Mark  Anthony Lee and fiancée, Denise of Richlands, Tony James  Lee and wife Nancy of Deep Run;   He is also survived by his grandchildren, Teri Jarman and husband Michael of LaGrange, Ryan Croom and wife Danielle of Kinston, Matthew Thigpen and wife Makalia of Deep Run, Chase Lee and fiancée Christina of Holly Ridge; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; brothers, Lewis Lee and Jimmy Lee; and sister, Joyce Barnett. 

Walter was baptized on July 22, 1995 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  During his many challenges   in life, his faith in the coming paradise where sickness and death will be no more gave him much strength and comfort.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 1, 2025 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kinston, North Carolina.
