Walter Roger Albertson

Walter Roger Albertson, 68, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie.  He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Roger Albertson; parents, Dunnie and Dempsey Albertson; and brothers, Jimmy and Andrew Albertson.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Lisa Albertson Mines and husband Robert; son,   Shaun Albertson and wife Tonya; grandchildren, Brandon Chavis, Robert Mines III, Dawson Mines, Kaitlyn Mines, Brian Albertson, Devin Albertson, Eric Albertson, Bradley Albertson and Michelle Albertson; nieces, Jill Jennings, Marie Price and Elizabeth Every; nephews, Kevin Albertson, Richard Albertson and Tony Albertson; sister, Betty Teachey and husband Sammy; sister-in-law, Molly Lee and many great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 followed by a Graveside Service at the Lee-Albertson Cemetery on Bill Sutton Road.
