KINSTON
Virginia Dare Perry, 99, died peacefully Thursday morning April 8, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at Pink Hill Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday morning at 11:00 am at Westview Cemetery in Kinston.
Born Virginia Dare Turner on April 10, 1921 (She would have been 100 on Saturday), she graduated Lenoir Memorial Nursing School in 1942 and married Hubert E. Perry November 25, 1942. She graduated ECU School of Nursing in 1966. She retired as In Service Director from Caswell Center in 1980. Virginia is the last surviving sibling of parents Seth D. Turner and Florence Whaley Turner.
Virginia is survived by her two sons, William E. Perry and wife Lori and Seth Durwood Perry and wife Pamela and one daughter, Elizabeth Perry and 2 grandchildren, Jesse Lynn and Dillon Perry.
