Violet Irene (Grady) Stroud

Violet Irene Stroud, 71, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, June 12, 2025.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Nannie Grady; grandson, Joseph Creech; brother, J R Grady. Violet enjoyed fishing with Sydney, her Motown music, and working in her yard with her flowers.

Visitation will be Saturday June 14, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Pink Hill Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will follow the Visitation at 11:00 am with interment at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Pink Hill.

Violet is survived by her lifelong companion, Sylvester Lane Graham; daughter, April Phipps and husband T J; son, Bobby Creech; grandchildren, Andrew, Piper, Trip, and Jeremiah; sister, Rose Marie Slye and friend Jimmy Carter; sister/friend Loretta Gardner; brother, William Grady and wife Donna; nieces, Christy and Angela; nephews, Chris and Jamie.
