Vickie Best Taylor,69, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at her home. Vickie was affectionately called Nonnie by many.  She was an exceptional caregiver of friends and family alike.  Most days she could be found in the kitchen cooking up some good country food for her family and community.  If you left Nonnie’s house hungry, it was your own fault.  When she wasn’t in the kitchen, she could be found in her favorite chair, watching Westerns with her boys and crocheting blankets for loved ones.

Her favorite hobby was shopping with her sisters or her best friend and sister-in-law, Linda.  She loved everyone, making friends wherever she went.  But everyone knew the 3 men that had her heart were Timmy, Brandon, and Evan.  Forever in her heart.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Barnett Best; brothers, Gerald Best; and sister Crystal Best. 

She is survived by her husband, Timmy Taylor; sons, Brandon Weaver and Allen Taylor ; daughter, Michelle Taylor Haddock; brothers William and David Best; sisters Kay Powell, Tracey Best and special sister-in-law, Linda Best; 5 grandchildren, Evan Weaver, Christopher Haddock, Nicholas Haddock, Lindzy Mozingo and Kristen Taylor and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with visitation following the service.  Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
