Sheldon Cornelius Anderson was born April 22, 1938. He was the son of Harry Lane Anderson and Flonnie Mae Hobbs DeLuca. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Whaley Anderson, to whom he was married to for over 40 years. He leaves behind daughters, Tammy Douglas (Scott), Kimberly Tyndall (Kevin), Debbie Murphy (Reggie), Wendy Quinn (Alan); sons, Charles Anderson (Crystal), Ricky Anderson (Kerry), Anthony Pate (Ann), Roger Pate (Kim); 6 sisters, 5 brothers, 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with visitation following the service.  Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Sand Hill Cemetery in Pink Hill,
