Ruth Ann (Rhodes) Turner

Ruth Ann Rhodes Turner, 78, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023 surrounded by her family.  Waiting to meet her with open arms were her parents, Grover and Gladys Rhodes and her loving husband Leslie Lawton Tuner, Sr.

Ruth was a member of Smith Presbyterian Church.  She was a great mother and wife.  She loved to cook and quilt.  Ruth enjoyed flowers, gardening, bowling and loved bright colors.  She was super-handy, loved her friends, and was known for her dry sense of humor.  Ruth was adventurous, loved the outdoors;  especially on a four-wheeler.

Left to cherish her memories include her children, Eric Rhodes Quinn and wife Anne, Lisa Quinn Hobgood and husband Chris, Leslie Lawton Turner Jr. and wife Leanne, and John Davis Turner and wife Tabatha; grandchildren, Samuel Rhodes Quinn, Brian McCall Quinn, Meredith Grace Turner, Elizabeth Lawton Turner and Morgan Ashworth Turner; and brother G. Frederick Rhodes.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with funeral service following.  Interment will be held immediately after the funeral service at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials for Ruth may be sent to Smith Presbyterian Church, c/o Tammy Walker, 2293 N NC Hwy 111, Pink Hill, NC  28572 or to a Hospice Care Center of your choice.
