Rose Whaley, 72, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in Yadkinville, NC.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Whaley;  father, Frank Howard; mother and step-father, Sadie and Ronald Carter and brother, Paul Howard.

Rose is survived by her son, Steve Whaley and wife Colette of Pink Hill; daughter, Ann Semones and husband John of North Wilkesboro; brother, Frank Howard and wife Betty of Leland; grandchildren, Erika Whaley, Payton Whaley, Victoria Semones, Isabella Semones, Elizabeth Semones and Gaby Semones; nephew, Jeff Howard and wife Stephanie; niece, Nikole Howard.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home with visitation following.  Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
