Robert Thigpen Obituary

Robert Earl Thigpen, 85, went home to be with Jesus Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Josephine Thigpen and two brothers, Edward Thigpen and Elwood Thigpen.

Earl is survived by his wife Carolyn Ann Thigpen, daughter Rebecca Thigpen King and husband Darryl, brother Hollis Thigpen and wife Sandy, two grandchildren Meredith King and Evan King.

He was a member of Sandy Plain Original Free Will Baptist Church. A Celebration of the Life of Robert Earl Thigpen will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Sandy Plain Original Free Will Baptist Church. An informal visitation will be held beginning at 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
