Peggy Amelia (Mitchell) Davis

Peggy Amelia Mitchell Davis, October 19, 1939 – December 3, 2022, passed away Saturday at UNC Lenoir Health Care.  She was the daughter of the late Leacy Mae Dunn Mitchell and Henry Murphy Mitchell.  Peggy was the loving wife of the late Amos Franklin Davis, Sr.

Peggy is survived by one sister, Betty Mitchell Jones; four daughters, Pam Davis Skinner, Karen Davis and Daryl Freeman, Angela Davis, Beth Davis Hinson; one son, Franklin Davis, Jr. and Mary Ann Griggs; six grandchildren, Steve Skinner and Clara Rcon, Sara Skinner Brown and Renado Brown, Tyler Davis, Chase Hinson, Nichole Hinson and Jordan Everett, Billy Hinson; one great-grandchild, Airas Love Brown.

Visitation will be held Tuesday December 6, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Pink Hill Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Pink Hill, North Carolina.
