Nancy Carroll (Holt) Britt

Nancy Carroll Holt Britt, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Nannie Lou Holt; husband Cornia Britt; and sister, Peggy Strickland.

Nancy Carroll is survived by her children, Kay Britt Houston (Dewey), Marshall Britt (Marsha), and Jimmy Britt ( Paula); grandchildren, Hope Kornegay (Larry), Scott Britt (Celeste), Tammy Daniels (Shannon), Bobby Britt (Beverly), Kim Hedrick (Brian), Thomas Houston (Desiree), Clint Britt (Christy), Carol Britt, and J.P. Britt; greatgrandchildren, Jared Britt(Alex), Logan Kornegay, Dalton Jones, Griffen Kornegay (Taylor), Blaine Britt, Brittany Marshburn (Tyler), Karley Futrell (Justin), Chase Britt, Lilly Britt, Drew Hedrick, Seth Hedrick, Tyson Britt, Mathew Britt, and Isaiah Britt; great-great-grandchildren, Waitley Kornegay, Marsh Britt and Olivia Futrell.  She is also survived by her brother, Sherwood Holt (Barbara); nephews, Johnny Holt, Jamie Holt and Jeffery Holt and nieces Kim Batts (Ray) and Lou Brooks (Jim) and many other nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Amos Simmons Cemetery, Coy Smith Road, Albertson.  The family will receive visitors at Nancy Carroll's home at 1061 Tram Road Friday December 27, 2024 from 2:00 until 7:00 pm.
