Mary Howard, 81, of Pink Hill passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at UNC Lenoir in Kinston.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Grady; husband, Richard Howard; son John Hill McDwayne Miller; sisters, Ida Pittman, Mavis Miller, Eloise Taylor and Myrtle Quinn and brother, JW Grady.

Mary is survived by her son Jonathan McDwight Miller and girlfriend Crystal Trott; daughter-in-law, Angela Miller; grand kids, Joshua Miller (Louise), Julia Miller (Colby), Jenna Miller and Jona Miller (Jason); great-grandchildren, Olivia Jane Green, Jackson River Green and Emma Jarman; and sister, Ethylene Hill.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home.  Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. after the visitation.  Burial will follow at the Miller Family Cemetery in Pink Hill.
