Obituary
Marvin “Mac” McDowell Garris Jr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Lee and Marvin Garris.
Mac is survived by his daughter, Lynley Herring (David Harrell), grandchildren, Morgan Herring (Anna), Maygan Herring Russ (Jeremy), Makelle Herring (Anderson), and Dylan Harrell (Kelly); great-grandchildren, Grayson Russ, Lainey Jo Russ, and Owen Herring: brother, Johnny Garris and wife Jo Ann; stepdaughter Wendy Clemens (Mark), her mother Susan and step-grandchildren, Emily and Zachery Clemens.
Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 20, 2023 with funeral services to follow at 3:00 pm at Pink Hill Funeral Home.
