Lola Mae Hardison

Albertson- Lola Mae Hardison, 82, of 260 Guy Sanderson Road, died Sunday, February 13, 2022.  She was born August 13, 1939, and was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Bryce Hardison of 58 years; father, Hardy Howard; mother, Erma Mae Stanley Howard; sons, Ronald Keith Hardison, Gregory Bryce Hardison and Dwight Wayne Hardison; brother, Edward “Bud” Howard; sister, Nancy Jane Jones and great-grandson, Brycen Joseph Hardison.

Lola Mae was a woman of great perseverance and was the most loving and wonderful mother that anyone could have.  She was a dedicated and involved farm wife who did not mind taking on the daily tasks herself, such as, picking up eggs, gardening, cooking meals every day for everyone on the farm, barning tobacco, driving tractor, and running the family home.  She also found much favor in spending time at the coast and fishing with her family and friends.

Lola Mae is survived by two daughters, Kristi Yvonne Gomez and husband Francisco Gomez, and Deborah Mae Jones and husband; two sons, Kevin Wynn Hardison and wife; and Kelly Lynn  Hardison; daughter-in-law, Jane Hardison; sister, Dorothy Marie Rich and husband; two brothers, James Hardy Howard and wife, and David Lee Howard and wife; 14 grandchildren and 25 great -grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m.  on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Hardison Potter Cemetery.
