Linda Lou Smith Heath

Linda Lou Heath, 80 passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at ECU Health Duplin Hospital.  Linda graduated from BF Grady and worked many years as a Lab Tech at Parrott Hospital in Kinston.  She was a member of Harper- Southerland Presbyterian Church . 

Linda Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Richard “Tom” Heath; parents, Tessie and Coy Smith; sister, Barbara Hill and her husband Jack; brother, Gregory Smith, and brother-in-law, Everette Westbrook. 

She is survived by her sister, Tennelia Westbrook; sister-in-law, Linda Sue Smith; nieces and nephews, Lynn Smith, Phil Hill, Robby Smith, Karen Barbee, Leigh Ann Mercer, Jackie Brickhouse, and Nikki Johnson and many great-nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be sent to Harper-Southerland Presbyterian Church, c/o Carol Hoover, 279 Bland Howell Road, Kinston, North Carolina 28504.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill
