On Saturday, January 9, 2021, L. Glenn Arnette passed away at the age of 60 at UNC Lenoir.  He was born on June 28, 1960 and resided in Pink Hill, NC.  Glenn was an auto mechanic most of his adult life as well as an auto mechanics teacher for the past 15 years at Southwest High School.

Glenn was always a hard worker in spite of multiple health issues and constant pain.  He continued to work 2 jobs until recently.

Glenn was married to Terri Arnette for almost 41 years.  He was very proud of his family and attended church at Turning Point Assembly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Arnette.  He is survived by his wife, Terri ; son, Derrick and wife Amanda; son Andrew and wife, Haley; grandsons, Caleb, Eli, and Greyson; mother, Rachel Arnette; sister Debra Howard and husband Keith; aunt, Linda Smith and husband Buster and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Turning Point Assembly.
