Lanie Elizabeth Jenkins Davis

Elizabeth  Jenkins Davis, 90, of Trenton NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully  at home on Wednesday May 2nd 2018.   She was born March 27, 1928 to E.A. and Lanie Jenkins. A native of Jones County, she was a homemaker and a faithful member of New Testament Baptist Church. She also enjoyed working as a judge with the local election board during the primaries and county elections.  She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, six sisters, and her husband Rodolph C. Davis.   Elizabeth is survived by her children JoAnne West (David) of Kinston, Anthony Dale Davis of Greenville, and Jane Ellen Lacross(Edward)of Trenton; grandson Andy Davis(Amy)of Trenton; step grandchildren David West Jr., Jason West (Masham), Bryan and Amber Lacross; step great grandchildren Courtney Bryans(Chad), Aubrey and Kaitlyn West, Pressley and Valkyn Lacross,  John Rodney and Karson and Kyndall Jones, and many extended family members. A celebration of her life will held at Pink Hill Funeral Home Sunday May 6, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with the burial to take place at the Green Cemetery in Trenton immediately following  the service. The family would like to thank 3HC Hospice Care, her nurses Ann Marie Golombeski and Daphne Shirley, and her healthcare aide Diane Johnson, for the outstanding care that was provided for our mother.
