Kay Odom Benson

Kay Odom Benson, 78, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at ECU Medical in Greenville.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenwood  Benson; sisters, Betty Bowles and Bobbie Odom Laney and her parents, Lewis and Elizabeth.

Kay is survived by her daughters, Donna Ashlock and Angie Benson Rohrer (David); brother, Johnny Odom; sister, Virginia Matthews; grandchildren, Kala Coates (Taylor), Kandas Lee (Jacob), Phillip Ashlock (Haley), Whitney Ashlock; great-grandchildren, Addison Coates, Lenni-Kate Coates, and Grayson Ashlock; her good friend, Evelyn Futrell; many nieces and nephews and her special companion, Bella.

Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Pink Hill Funeral Home.  Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.  Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw.
