Kathryn Sue (Byrd) Hill

Kathryn Sue Byrd Hill, 80, of Pink Hill, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 28, 2023 surrounded by her family.  Sue lived to serve her Lord and Savior.   She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Mema), and friend to all.  She will be missed by many.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Milton B. “Runt” Hill, Sr.; sister, Estelle Smith; brothers, Harvey Byrd, Thomas Byrd, Kenneth “Terrapin” Byrd, Jimmy Byrd, and Clarence Byrd.

Sue is survived by her son, Milton Hill and wife Stacy; daughter, Susan Sandlin and husband Brad; grandchildren, Chris Hill and wife Diana, Taylor Hawkins and husband Eddie, Daniel Hill and wife Taylor, Riley Sandlin and significant other, Andrew Debernardo; great-grandson, Grayson James Hawkins; brother, Norman James Byrd and wife Carol and special caregiver, Melissa Byrd.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Pink Hill Funeral Home.  A private burial will be held.
