Jimmy Ray Gardner, 73, of Pink Hill passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Vidant Duplin.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Gardner; children, Thomas “Buddy” Gardner, James “Jay” Gardner and wife Melinda, Jolyn Murphy and husband Johnny, Zachary Gardner; step-daughter, Renee Gardner; grandchildren, Thomas “T.J.” Gardner and wife Michelle, Brandon Gardner, Laura Grady and husband Josh, Chelsea Reilly and husband Patrick, Logan Murphy, Jessika Riles, Olivia Murphy, Conner Lambert, Dylan Lambert; 8 great-grandchildren:   Peyton Gardner, Alyssa Gardner, Braydon Gardner, Grace Dale, Layla Fischer, Jaxton Reilly,  Kaidin Reilly,  Clarence Byrd; and stepmother, Joyce Gardner. 

He is also survived by his sisters, Martha Parker, Clara Alderman and husband Charles, Irene Hill and Brenda Riley and husband Tim; brother, David Hollingsworth and wife Janet and many nieces and nephews.  Jimmy also leaves behind his special furry friends, Bo and Powerstroke.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021.
