Jeffery Wooten Tyndall

Jeffery Wooten Tyndall, 79, passed away peacefully with his wife and children at his side on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at UNC Hospital Chapel Hill.  He retired from NCDOT.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Prentice Tyndall and Tempie Tyndall Potter; son, Prentice Jay Tyndall and great- grandson, Owen Dean Tyndall; and son-in- law, Jeffrey Wayne Brock  

Jeff is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda of the home, son, Dean and wife Debbie of Deep Run; daughters, Kim Tyndall of Kinston, and Melanie Brock of Deep Run.  Sister, Patricia Murphy and brothers, Jerry and wife Vyra, Keith, Kent and wife Anne.  

Jeff leaves behind a legacy of 9 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and special dog companion Molly.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Jeff Tyndall Cemetery.  Friends are welcome to visit at other times at his home.
