Herman "Jackie/Jerry" Byrd, Jr passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Willow Creek Nursing & Rehab Center in Goldsboro. He is preceded in death by his parents Lula Mae and Herman Byrd, Sr, and two brothers, Carl Byrd and Harold "Jim" Byrd. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Ruby Byrd and his extended family of cousins and friends. No funeral arrangements have been made at this time.
