Freeman Wallace Murphy

Freeman Wallace Murphy, 82, of Albertson passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  He was preceeded in death by his parents Marion and Louise Murphy, his brothers Edgar Murphy and Thomas  Murphy and his Sisters Helen Matthews and Lynn Murphy.

Freeman was a kind and gentle man.  He was a loving husband and a devoted father.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elaine Grady Murphy, his daughter Elizabeth Murphy Barnett (Rob), his grandsons Austin Barnett and Ryan Barnett, and his brother Kenneth Murphy.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill at 3:00 pm.
