Edna Maxvell Heath Carroll

Edna Maxvell Heath Carroll 88, of Stella, formerly of Pink Hill was welcomed into her home in glory by her Saviour & Lord, Jesus Christ on October 25, 2022 at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City NC.

Mrs. Carroll is preceded in death by her parents Matthew and Annie Ruth Lee, several siblings, daughter, Loretta Heath, first husband, James Heath and second husband, Billy Carroll.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Rene Heath, son Terry Wade (Shelia) Heath, and stepchildren, Lisa (Al) Coleman and McCrae Carroll. Grand children Timothy Scott Greene, Kari Ann (Curtis) Warren, and Joshua Wade (Jessica) Heath.

Great grandchildren Mason Warren, Evan Warren, Ashton Warren, Timberly Colie, Pippa Jean Heath, Grayson James “Fin” Greene, and Nova James Heath; and special son-in-law, Tim Greene and wife Karen.

Mrs. Carroll was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, Gigi. She worked along beside her first husband, James on their family farm and with him at his service station for many years. During her life she worked my facets including sewing plants, health care providers, private care facilities and she retired from Caswell Center in Kinston. She gave her heart to the Lord at an early age and was faithful to Him throughout the rest of her life.

A grave side service of remembrance will be held at Oak Ridge Memorial in Pink Hill on Saturday October 29, 2022 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends following the service.
