Eddie Junior Epps

Eddie Junior Epps, 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.  He was born on January 18, 1945 to the late Ollie and James Edward Epps.

Eddie was a simple man who enjoyed his work as a carpenter – working until he retired at age 77.  He loved hunting, fishing, playing checkers and time with his granddaughter, Abby.  Eddie's goal each day was to make someone smile.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Joyce Epps; children, Michael Epps (Laurie Anne), Lisa Price (Jeff), and Derek Stroud (Mandi); grandchildren, Hunter Price, William Mercer, Abby Stroud; special family friend, Courtney Young and two loving animals, Jake and Sassy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Chapel Building Fund, c/o Martha Howard, P.O. Box 424, Pink Hill, NC 28572.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 2:30 on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Christian Chapel Church in Pink Hill. Funeral service will follow the visitation, beginning at 2:30.  Burial will be held after at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
