Dennis Ray King

KINSTON

Dennis Ray King, born December 19, 1947, went to be with his Lord and Savior April 30, 2022 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.  Dennis was preceded in death by his father Henry “Buddy” King and his mother Marie King, infant son Jeremy King and daughter Melissa King, and brother Ronald King.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol King, his son Eddie King and fiancé Lisa Dail, Grandchildren Amber Shivers, Dean Daughety and fiancée Morgane Taylor, Desirea Hanson, Megan King and fiance' Joshua Kelly, Charity King, Miranda Sanders, PercyLee King, and Great-grandchildren Jaxson Shivers, Dakota Carraway, Blakelynn Pike, and Maddie Caliguire.  He is also survived by three sisters, Debbie Stroud and husband Lawrence, Linda Southerland and husband Frankie, and Ramona Grady and husband Braxton.

Dennis served in the United States Army before beginning work at the City of Kinston as a Lineman where he retired with 30 years of service.  He was a member of Tabernacle FWB Church.

Funeral Services will be held from the Pink Hill Funeral Home Monday May 2, 2022 at 7:00 pm with a Visitation to follow the Service.  Interment will be at 11:00 am Tuesday May 3, 2022 at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Kinston.
