Christopher Jay Murphy, 50, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at UNC Lenoir in Kinston.

Chris is survived by his wife, Susan Rodgers Murphy; children, Courtney Murphy Huffman and husband Kyle, Ashley Murphy, Billy Herring, Samantha Lee and husband Josh, and Allison Herring: mother, Marsha Murphy; and father, Jay Murphy.

Funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November11, 2022 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with visitation following the service.
