Obituary
Charles Clifton Ball, 65, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at UNC Lenoir Health Care. Clifton was a farmer and worked for Murphy Family Ventures and loved to tend his garden. His specialties were collards and tomatoes. Clifton also enjoyed arguing with his sister Ruby.
He was preceded in death by his father, Avery Lee Ball, Sr. and a sister, Glenda Ball Mills.
Clifton is survived by his mother, Emma Lee Ball: sister, Ruby Ball Houston; brother, Avery Lee Ball, Jr and wife Sue. Survivors also include four nephews, Jordan Houston, Michael Whaley and wife Angela, Jason Ball and wife Holly, Joseph Ball and wife Stacey and three great nieces, Hannah Ball, Emma Ball, Ava Ball.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
