Burl Perry Robinson, 98, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his home.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Robinson.      

 Burl served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.  He was an amazing man and hero to so many in the Woodington/Deep Run area.  He served many roles here on earth as a son, husband, father, bishop, navy serviceman, and friend.

Burl is survived by his children, Gena Deaver, Cathy Martin and husband Mike, and Rocky Robinson and wife Jill; grandchildren, Derek Byrne, Corrie Byrne, Mandy Benson-Ide, Keely Adamson, Robin Miller, Paige Sommers, Ashleigh Robinson, Becca Seaborn and Annie Rose Robinson; and 19 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
