Braxton Luke Smith

April 8, 1980 ~ June 28, 2023

Braxton Luke Smith, 43, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at his home.  Luke was a good father who had made mistakes, but he loved his children.  He loved his Lord and was well-versed in the Scriptures.

Luke was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Scott Smith; granddaddy, Norman Smith and grandparents, Herman and Charlotte McArthur.

Luke is survived by his 3 children, Charlie Smith, Jaxon Smith and Emmalin Smith; father, Braxton Smith and wife Debbie; brother, J.T. Smith and wife Susan and their children, Walker and Cate Smith; step-brother, Jeremy Smith and wife Heather and their children, Bo and Brenn Smith; and the mother of his children, Kristie Barnette Smith.

Luke's greatest joy was playing basketball with his kids and playing golf.

A visitation will be held Sunday July 2, 2023 at the Pink Hill Funeral Home at 6:00 pm.  Graveside services will be at Westview Cemetery in Kinston at 11:00 am Monday, July 3, 2023.
