Braxton Grady

Braxton Grady, 85, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Kitty Askins in Goldsboro.  He was a loving husband and daddy.  Braxton retired from E I Dupont.  He loved his family and enjoyed working in the garden.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was known for his fish stews.

Braxton was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona King Grady; parents, Willie and Ruth Grady and brother, Harold Douglas Grady.

He is survived by his son, Gene Grady; daughter, Ruth Marie Teachey and husband Guy and Susan Grady; grandchildren, Grant Teachey and fiancée Kayla Bodzinski, Stuart Teachey, Megan Halso and fiancé Corey Harr, Adam Croom and wife Jessica, Katlyn Grady; great grandchildren, Emmah Rhett, Aiden, Braxton, Greyson, Allyson, Willow, Kori and Ezra; and sister, Elaine Grady Murphy.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Pink Hill Funeral Home.  Visitation will follow the service.  Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
