Bobby Gene Tyndall
June 21, 1939 – May 8, 2026

Bobby Gene Tyndall, 86, peacefully entered his heavenly home on May 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on June 21, 1939, Bobby lived a life rooted in faith, hard work, and devotion to those he loved most.

Bobby retired from DuPont after many years of dedicated service. Even in retirement, he continued doing what he loved as a part-time farmer, always finding joy in working the land and caring for his community and family. He was a faithful and devoted member of Christian Chapel Church, where his strong faith and servant’s heart touched many lives. Bobby was also a member and former master of the Pleasant Hill Masonic Lodge #304 since 1974.

Above all else, Bobby was a loving daddy and proud Papa. His family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and loved ones. He was known for his gentle spirit, wisdom, kindness, and unwavering work ethic. Bobby leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and dedication that will continue through the generations he helped shape.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris Tyndall; his father, Oscar Tyndall; his mother, Susie Harper Tyndall; his brothers, Jack Tyndall, Dean Tyndall, and Billy Tyndall; and his sister, Ida Pearl Moore.

He is survived by his children, Lynn Tyndall (Patricia) and Angie Tyndall (Jeff); his grandchildren, Casey Tyndall, Ryan Kennedy (Nikki), Johnna Pullman (Dean), and Alyssa Angle (Joh); and 11 cherished great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. The family would also like to express special love and appreciation for his devoted caregivers, Cotton Howard and Dana Nethercutt, for the care, compassion, and kindness they shared with Bobby.

Those who knew Bobby will remember his warm smile, quiet strength, and the love he shared so freely with others. His presence will be deeply missed, but his family finds comfort in knowing he is reunited with loved ones gone before him and resting in eternal peace.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill, NC.
