Betty Wallace,  83, of Albertson, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her home.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Red” Wallace.  Betty was a dedicated nurse at Dorothea Dix for over 30 years.  She was a strong advocate for the mentally challenged.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Audrey Carver; grandchildren, Brad Bostwick and Lacy Atchison and great-grandson, Colt; many nieces and nephews and several close friends who were very dear to her.

Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Pink Hill Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Wallace-Walker Cemetery in Albertson, NC.
