Seth Davis Turner, Jr

CLINTON
Seth Davis Turner, Jr., 86, of 303 Willow Road, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Sampson Regional Medical Center. S. D. was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Stroud Turner. He served in the U S Navy during WW II where he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Grove Park Baptist Church in Clinton. Viewing at the church from 12:30 until 1:45. Rev. Michael Shook officiating. Burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, December 27, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home in Pink Hill.
S. D. is survived by two sisters, Virginia T. Perry of Kinston and Irma T. Hunt of Albertson, two brothers, Calvin C. Turner, Sr. and wife Vera of Albertson and Leslie L. Turner and wife Ruth of Greenville, a step-sister, Grace Stroud Price of Clinton and a step-brother, Ray Stroud of Clinton, and a very special friend, Georgia Brewer of Clinton.

Visitation Monday, December 27, 2010, Pink Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m. at Grove Park Baptist church in Clinton. Interment at Grandview Cemetery in Clinton.
