Sallie Bostic Williams, age 98, of Pink Hill, NC entered heaven’s gates on Friday, November 2, 2018. She was born in Kenansville, NC on September 20, 1920 to Felix and Clara Bostic.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Williams.

Sallie was a long-standing member of the Pink Hill Methodist Church.  She had a passion for flowers and gardening and it showed in her beautifully manicured yard.  She loved bird watching and sewing. Spending time with her grandchildren was the highlight of her life.

She is survived by her son, Fred Williams of New Bern, NC and her daughter Margaret Williams of Pink Hill, NC, and her grandchildren Leslie Williams of Austin, Texas; Ashley (Alek) Samuelson of Katy, Texas; Christopher (Erica) Williams of Sanford, NC; 5 great-grandchildren: Avery, Amelia, Aubrey, Hunter and Logan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sallie’s name may be made to Kitty Atkins Hospice Center 107 Handley Park Ct, Goldsboro NC, or Pink Hill United Methodist Church, c/o Carolyn Whitfield, 313 North Central Ave. Pink Hill, NC.

Funeral services will be held at Pink Hill Funeral Home, Pink Hill, NC on November 10th.   Family will receive friends prior to the service at 10:00 and Funeral Services will begin at 11:00.   A burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Pink Hill NC
