L.E. “Bud” Howard
Pink Hill-
L.E. “Bud” Howard left his earthly home on February 4th, 2018 to be with Jesus in his Heavenly Home. He was born 1/8/1933 to the late Hubert and LouBell W. Howard. He was preceded in death by his sister Evaline, brothers; Elwood, Leroy and Larry. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Billie Faye M. Howard; daughter, Marendia and husband Richard; son, Wayne and wife Deidra; grandchildren; Joshua, Megan, Thomas, Sarah, Andrew and wife Michaela, Brooke, Carlie, Abie, and great -granddaughter, Lexi; sisters, Bessie, Ann, Jean and husband Michael, Trula, Faye, Joan and his special little canine friend, Bitsy (Bambina)
Bud, as he was known to everyone, was a farmer, a carpenter, a plumber, a husband, a father and a grandfather. He took each of those roles very seriously. He was a man of few words. He did not always say the words “I love you”, but he showed them in his own unique way through hard work and providing for them. He loved the Lord and his church families in the same way. He utilized his carpentry and plumbing skills to help build additions for The Pink Hill Church of God and Albertson Missionary Baptist Church. He helped build the house he lived in and could always be counted on to help family, friends, and neighbors in any way. Bud will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 6 at Pink Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 7 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with burial following at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
