Judith Dawn Rhodes

Judith Dawn Rhodes, 75, died peacefully on February 23, 2018 surrounded by her family at Vidant Duplin Hospital.  Judith was born October 7, 1942 in Muncie, Indiana and is the daughter of Clyde Hammond Minnick and Martha Bell Frazier.

Judith is survived by her husband Grover Frederick Rhodes; children, Ted Brothers, Amy Wood, and Paula Ross; step-children, Freddy Rhodes, Bill Rhodes, Robin Rhodes, and Kristie Lanier; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Judith was an Elder and active member of Smith Presbyterian Church in Smith Township of Duplin County.  She volunteered her skills as a quilter to help many worthy causes in the community and will be greatly missed by the community she leaves behind.

Funeral service will be held at Pink Hill Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018, with visitation afterwards.  Graveside service will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
