Joseph Hill Obituary

Joseph Andrew Hill, 74, of 3497 Murphy Road, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Quinn Hospice Center in Kenansville. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Masonic Lodge 304. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Nathan and Pearl Hill; wife, Estelle Carter Hill and sons, Michael and Greg Hill. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 27 at Pink Hll Funeral Home with the Rev. Nelson Koonce officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Pink Hill. Survivors include daughter, Carolyn Hill Jarman and husband Avery of Pink Hill; sisters Louise Maready and husband Ray of New Bern, and Betty Lou Maready of Beulaville; grandchildren, Ashley Jarman, Carly Jarman, and Sonya Eubanks, and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, at Pink Hill Funeral Home.
