Jane Byrd, 77, of Pink Hill, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Kitty Askins in Goldsboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Needham and Rachel Bradshaw; daughter, Karen Byrd Bryant and son, Kenneth John Byrd; brothers, Simon and J.C. Bradshaw.

Jane is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Terrapin” Byrd; daughter, Amanda Phillips (Michael Ormond); sons, Billy Byrd (Sallie) and Mark Byrd; grandchildren, Lyndsey Mikitis, Jamie Talyor (Ryan), Harley Bryant, Whitney Bryant, Karleigh Byrd, Karsyn Byrd, and Roman Byrd; great-grandson, Bretton Mikitis; and  sister, Nell Brock (Buck).

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Pink Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with burial following at the Byrd Cemetery in Pink Hill.
