Ivey Gilbert Harper

Ivey Gilbert Harper, 88, of Albertson, passed away on January 13, 2011 at Kenansville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Kenansville. He was born February 12, 1922 to Ira Grissom Harper and Vera Irene Boyette Harper.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Wayne Harper; daughter Rebecca Harper Lowder; sisters, Edna H. Solar, and Mildred Harper Wood.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Lee Dennett Harper of the home; daughter, Noreen H. Fredriksen of Albertson; son, Ivey Gilbert Harper, Jr., of Flat Rock, NC; sister, Catherine Kirby of Murray, Utah; brothers, Milo Harper of Deep Run, Jerald Harper of Albertson, and Caroll Harper of Smithfield; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Albertson Ward. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Albertson Ward with Bishop Hugh Harper officiating. Burial will follow at the Harper Cemetery in Albertson.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Albertson, N.C.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Albertson Ward.
Burial will follow at the Harper Cemetery, Albertson, NC.
