Gloria Schimmel, 64, of Pink Hill passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at UNC Lenoir. She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Malena Aubrey Schimmel and brother, Kitt White.
Gloria is survived by her husband Charles Schimmel; sons, Charles Ray Parrott, Jr., and David Shelton Parrott; daughter, Jean Parrott Coble; brothers, John Wayne White and Willis Earl White; and sisters, Gwen Smith and Mattie Ann White; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Pink Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with burial following at the Whaley Family Cemetery in Pink Hill.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
