Frances Evelyn Sugg Deaver, 90, died Saturday, March 31, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Emma Sugg, 2 brothers and a sister.  She is survived by her eternal husband of 71 years, Horace Edward Deaver and her children, Elizabeth Carol Goodwin and husband Bob of West Valley City, Utah; Peggy D. Pate and husband Ron of Scott’s Store; Joyce Ann Bear and husband Gene of Durham; Charlene Deaver Meadows and  husband Aaron of Kinston; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Albertson Ward.  Entombment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
