Durwood Elwood Tyndall, 85, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 at his home. 

Durwood is survived by his wife, Maxine Tyndall; son, Kenneth Tyndall and wife, Becky;  James Tyndall and wife, Caroline; grandchildren, Megan (Corn),Tyler, Amanda and Ryan Tyndall; step grand-children, Alyssa, Aubree and Austin Littleton; great-grandchildren, Maci Williford, Mason Perez, Drew Bostic and Christopher Burkett, step great-grandchildren, Ella Parris, Jonathan and Riley Perez; nieces, Susan Baysden and Tina Wood; nephews, William Jones and Kevin Wood; sisters, Mildred Louise Jones, Alice Daughety, Faye Batchelor and Ann Wisener.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with visitation following the service.  Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Howard Cemetery, Kinston, NC.
