Catherine Hill, 84 of Albertson passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at her daughter’s home.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with visitation following.

Catherine was a member of Smith’s Presbyterian Church.  She was a former member of First Christian Church in Wilmington, NC.  She retired from banking after 30 years and then worked 14 years for Dr. David Miles in Wilmington.

She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Mary Hill of Deep Run.  She is survived by her son, Gary Smith and wife Vivian of Goldsboro; her daughter, Manena Buck and husband Dwight of Albertson; her grandchildren, Gary Smith II and wife Melanie, Hope Taylor and husband Neal, Nicole Smith and spouse Susan, Tina Herrington and husband Kevin; great-grandchildren, Ellis Smith, Ariel Smith, Brayden Smith, Avery and Owen Taylor, Hadley and Hudson Smith-Lassiter.  She is also survived by her sisters, Frances Stroud, Nancy Beirise and husband Neal; brother, Samuel J. Hill and J. Michael Hill and wife Sonja.  She has many special nieces and nephews.  She leaves behind her precious and devoted dog, Ali.
