Billy Thigpen, 68, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Kitty Askins.

He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Thigpen, Jr.; parents, Jobe and Lillie Thigpen; brothers, Marvin, Furnie “Red”, Sam,  Horace and Morris Thigpen; and sister, Ella Mae Futrell.

Billy is survived by his son, Chris Thigpen and wife Betty; daughters, Jennifer Thigpen and Amy Thigpen; girlfriend, Michelle White  and her son Spencer Jones; brothers, Butch Thigpen and Burnie Thigpen; sisters, Lillie Ruth Jenkins and Doris Hoffman; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13 at Pink Hill Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with burial following at the Maxwell Cemetery in Albertson.
