Alberta “Tinsy” Griffin, 71, of Dover, passed away on December 25, 2018 at her home.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Pink Hill Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Lanes Chapel, 12041 NC Hwy 55 W, Dover with burial following at the Griffin Family Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Boyette Sr. and Mozelle Boyette and brother, Cecil Boyette Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Griffin; children, Rodolph “Rudy” Croom, Jr. and girlfriend Cameron Wade, Tammy Lilly and husband Alton Lilly Jr., William Bradley “Brad” Griffin and wife Kathryn; grandchildren, Marvin Brandon Lilly and wife Allison, Teri Jarman and husband Michael, Ryan Croom and fiancée Danielle Moulton, Colin Griffin and Braden Griffin; 6 great-grandchildren, Bentley and Anna Beth Jarman, Andy Lilly, Patience, Rhema and Micah Lytle; brothers, Richard Boyette, Larry Boyette and wife Devonne; Kenneth Boyette and wife Wanda; sisters, Shelby Phillips and husband Ron,  and Patricia Carlon and husband Sergio and many nieces and nephews.
